Now...A trough of low pressure is moving inland over western Washington late this afternoon. At 430 pm there were scattered showers and thunderstorms approaching the san juan islands. Showers and a few thunderstorms will move through the area over the next two hours. Expect blustery southwest winds to 25 mph with local gusts to 35 mph as the trough moves through late this afternoon. There is a good chance that a puget sound convergence zone will begin to develop near admiralty inlet this evening as westerly gales through the strait meet blustery southerly winds.
