Now...Regional weather discussion.. Thunderstorms with heavy rain will build gradually southeast through 5 am over north central Oklahoma. Radar at 4 am indicated very heavy thunderstorms... Some producing rainfall at A rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour... From near Marshall to perry and eastward to near and just north of stillwater. These thunderstorms were moving slightly south of due east at 20 mph. Current radar trends suggest that the heavier thunderstorms will build south toward guthrie and stillwater through 5 am. Local flooding will be possible in some areas... Especially in and near the i-35 corridor from near perry south toward mulhall. Elsewhere... Widespread showers and occasional thunderstorms will continue through 5 am across much of the rest of the northern third of Oklahoma. The most concentrated showers will be from near freedom and waynoka east to near cherokee... Medford... Enid... Blackwell... And ponca city. Hourly rainfall rates of a quarter to a half inch will be likely in these areas.
