Now...An area of scattered showers and thunderstorms continues to move west northwest from near carroll Texas...To near harleton Texas. Some of the stronger storms will produce brief heavy rainfall...Cloud to ground lightning...And wind gusts to 40 mph. Rainfall amounts of a tenth to a third of an inch will also occur...With amounts nearing a half an inch possible in a brief period of time in the heavier downpours.
