Now...Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to develop and spread west northwest across much of north Louisiana... Southcentral Arkansas...And east Texas...Through 9 pm. Some of the stronger storms will produce brief heavy rainfall...Cloud to ground lightning...And wind gusts to 40 mph. Rainfall amounts of a tenth to a third of an inch will also occur...With amounts nearing a half an inch possible in a brief period of time in the heavier downpours.
