Now...Flood watch in effect from 6 am est Friday through Saturday evening... Rain will overspread the Washington metropolitan area as well as the eastern West Virginia panhandle...North- central Maryland...And lower southern Maryland through midnight. Rainfall amounts through midnight will average up to one tenth of an inch. Rain will increase in coverage and intensity overnight as an upper level disturbance approaches and southeasterly winds aloft transport deeper moisture into the region.
